Dr. Michael Emusugut – Senior Orthopaedic Consultant
Founder of Michoes Medical Centre. Trained at Makerere University and University of Cape Town. Expertise in joint replacement, complex fracture management, and orthopaedic trauma. Committed to training the next generation of surgeons.

Dr. Nicholas Iyamitai – Head of Surgery
Expertise in emergency laparotomies, trauma surgery, and soft tissue reconstruction. Leads clinical governance and quality assurance.

Dr. Adoa Pious – Pediatrician
Director of maternal and child health.

Dr. Susan Atai – Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialist
Leads the maternity unit. Skilled in caesarean sections, obstetric fistula repair, and minimally invasive gynaecology. Advocate for safe motherhood and women’s dignity.

Pharmacy and laboratory

Jonathan A. – Lead Pharmacist
Ensures safe dispensing, drug interaction screening, and pharmaceutical counselling for all patients.

Okello John Bosco – Senior Laboratory Technician
Head of laboratory services. Manages haematology, chemistry, and microbiology testing with quality assurance protocols.

Nursing team

Our nursing staff includes registered nurses, enrolled nurses, nurse midwives, and nursing assistants – all trained in patient-centred care, infection control, and emergency response.

Clinical officers

Our clinical officers support outpatient clinics, emergency triage, and inpatient wards. They are skilled in diagnosis, treatment, and minor procedures.

Physiotherapy team

Our physiotherapist works with orthopaedic, stroke, and post-surgical patients to restore mobility and independence.

Social work and administration

Our social worker provides counselling, sponsorship applications, and referral coordination. Our administrative team handles appointments, billing, and hospital operations.

Support staff

Our cleaners, guards, cooks, drivers, and maintenance team keep the hospital running smoothly and safely.
