Our story

Founded with a vision to bring quality healthcare to Eastern Uganda, Michoes Medical Centre began as a small facility. Today, we operate a 50-bed hospital offering comprehensive medical and surgical care, with particular strength in orthopaedics, maternal health, and emergency services. Our growth reflects deep roots in the community and a commitment to accessible, compassionate care.

We remain independent and community-owned, guided by a board that includes local leaders and health professionals from Kanyum Kumi and the wider region. Every decision we make is guided by our mission to serve with dignity and excellence.
